Surveying a home before a canopy is installed

Survey

It is important to ensure that it is possible to fit the canopy or carport to your home. We provide you with a free survey to check the widths heights levels and obstructions to make sure that it is possible to install the canopy at your home so that it gives you many years of trouble free service.  

We take measurements which ensure that the canopy is cut to the correct dimensions and can be fitted round any obstructions such as drain pipes and gas boiler flues. We discuss the depth of the canopy and check what is suitable for your property.

The canopy has to be attached the wall of your home and secured into foundations in the ground. We make sure that the walls are sound and can take the weight of the canopy and associated wind and snow loads. We also check that there are no obstructions to prevent us from building suitable footings for the canopy posts. It there are problems we will suggest solutions.  

Our surveys are FREE and without obligation and usually take no more than an hour. The objective of a survey is to make sure that you have the best solution for your outdoor living.

Fitting

Fitting generally takes place one to two weeks after your order and usually takes one day for our trained team.  Specialist tools and systems are used to ensure that you get the perfect canopy installation at your home. Once the canopy is fitted the team sweep up and make sure that the site is left clean and tidy.

Once the canopy is fully installed all tools and spare materials are cleared away from the site.
